38.1 The popularity of IT careers among Zetland teenagers is a topic of interest due to the increasing demand for professionals in this field. The data from the opinion poll reveal several reasons why young people are choosing IT as their career path.

38.2 As a part of my project on what gifts Zetland teenagers would like to receive for their birthdays, I have analysed the results of an opinion poll. The data show that laptops are the most desired gift among teenagers, with 25% of respondents choosing this option. Headphones and smartphones follow closely behind, preferred by 23% and 24% of respondents respectively. Gift certificates were the least popular choice, with only 8% of teenagers indicating that they would like to receive one as a birthday present.

The data show that the number of teenagers who want to receive a smartphone for their birthday is 3 times more than those who want to receive a gift certificate. This indicates a high level of smartphone popularity among teenagers in Zetland.

One potential problem that can arise with birthday presents is choosing the right gift for each individual, as preferences can vary greatly among teenagers. One way to solve this issue is to consider the personality and interests of the recipient when selecting a gift, rather than simply following popular trends.

In conclusion, when choosing birthday presents for friends, it is important to take into account their individual preferences and interests. While electronic devices may be popular among Zetland teenagers, it is essential to consider what each person would truly appreciate and enjoy receiving on their special day.
