Imagine that you and your friend are doing a school project “Shopping”. You have found some photos to illustrate it but for technical reasons you cannot send them now. Leave a voice message to your friend explaining your choice of the photos and sharing some ideas about the project. In 2.5 minutes be ready to:

● explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;
● mention the advantages (1–2) of the two types of shopping;
● mention the disadvantages (1–2) of the two types of shopping;
● express your opinion on the subject of the project – which way of shopping you prefer and why.

You will speak for not more than 3 minutes (12–15 sentences). You have to talk continuously.

Hey, so I wanted to discuss the photos we chose for our school project on shopping. The first photo shows a family shopping together at a grocery store. I thought this was a great representation of traditional in-store shopping, where families can spend quality time together and physically see and choose their groceries.

The second photo depicts a girl shopping online with a laptop and debit card. This shows the convenience of online shopping, where you can shop from the comfort of your own home and have items delivered to your doorstep without having to physically go to a store.

One advantage of in-store shopping is the ability to see and feel the products before purchasing them, as well as the social aspect of shopping with family or friends. On the other hand, online shopping offers convenience and the ability to easily compare prices and products from different stores without leaving your home.

However, one disadvantage of in-store shopping can be the time and effort it takes to physically go to the store and navigate through crowds and lines. On the other hand, online shopping may lead to impulse purchases and the inability to see the product in person before purchasing it.

Personally, I prefer in-store shopping because I enjoy the experience of physically picking out my groceries and seeing what I am buying.
