38.1 The subject of my project is exploring the most popular topics for video blogs among Zetland teenagers.
Based on the opinion poll data, it is interesting to note that books and films are the most watched topic, with 43% of respondents choosing it. This indicates a strong interest in storytelling and visual media among teenagers. On the other hand, only 7% of respondents watch cooking video blogs. This could be due to the lack of interest in cooking among teenagers, or it could be a reflection of the difficulty in creating engaging content around this topic.
It is interesting to note that the number of respondents who watch blogs on cooking, pets, fitness and sports in total does not exceed the number of people watching blogs on books and movies. This indicates that most teenagers in Zetland are not interested in these topics.

One striking finding is that game shows are the most watched TV programmes, with 30% of respondents indicating they watch them most often. Following closely behind are feature films and TV series, preferred by 27% of respondents. This suggests a trend towards more light-hearted and entertaining content.
On the other hand, the data also show that only 8% of respondents watch science programmes most often, that is about 4 times less than those who watch game shows. This may indicate either the low quality of science programs or the low level of interest in them from viewers in Zetland.
This highlights a potential issue with the lack of interest in educational content on television. To address this issue, it is crucial to find ways to encourage viewers to engage with informative and intellectually stimulating programmes.
