Imagine that you and your friend are doing a school project “Study alone or in a company”. You have found some photos to illustrate it but for technical reasons you cannot send them now. Leave a voice message to your friend explaining your choice of the photos and sharing some ideas about the project. In 2.5 minutes be ready to:

● explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;
● mention the advantages (1–2) of studying with friends and alone;
● mention the disadvantages (1–2) of studying with friends and alone;
● express your opinion on the subject of the project – whether you would prefer to study alone or with friends and why.

You will speak for not more than 3 minutes (12–15 sentences). You have to talk continuously.

Hey there! So, I found some really interesting photos to illustrate our school project on studying alone or in a company. The first photo shows a boy and a girl studying together, looking cheerful and engaged in the material. On the other hand, the second photo depicts a girl studying alone, looking worried and overwhelmed with the amount of work in front of her.

I chose these photos because they perfectly showcase the differences between studying alone and with friends. When studying with friends, you have the advantage of being able to discuss ideas, ask for help and keep each other motivated. It can make studying more enjoyable and can lead to better understanding of the material. However, studying alone allows for more focus and concentration, without the distractions that may come with studying in a group.

On the flip side, studying with friends can sometimes lead to distractions and a lack of productivity if not managed properly. It may also be difficult to coordinate schedules and align study goals. On the other hand, studying alone can be isolating and may lead to feelings of loneliness or lack of motivation without the support and camaraderie of study groups.

Personally, I prefer to study alone most of the time. I find that I am able to focus better and manage my time more efficiently when I study on my own. However, I do see the benefits of studying with friends, especially when it comes to discussing challenging topics and sharing different perspectives. In the end, I think a balance of both is key – studying alone when I need focus and concentration and studying with friends when I need support and collaboration. What do you think?
