Imagine that you and your friend are doing a school project “Hobbies”. You have found some photos to illustrate it but for technical reasons you cannot send them now. Leave a voice message to your friend explaining your choice of the photos and sharing some ideas about the project. In 2.5 minutes be ready to:

● explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;
● mention the advantages (1–2) of the two types of hobbies;
● mention the disadvantages (1–2) of the two types of hobbies;
● express your opinion on the subject of the project – which kind of hobby you prefer and why.

You will speak for not more than 3 minutes (12–15 sentences). You have to talk continuously.

Hey there! So, I'm really excited about our school project on hobbies and I think the photos we found are perfect illustrations for it.

The first photo shows a girl riding a horse on the lawn on a clear and sunny day. I chose this photo because horseback riding is such a beautiful and calming hobby and it's also a great way to connect with nature. The second photo, on the other hand, shows a boy sitting at a laptop in the fresh air. I thought this was interesting because it shows how technology can also be a hobby. The boy in the photo is wearing glasses and a red T-shirt, which gives off a very focused and professional vibe.

One advantage of horseback riding as a hobby is that it's a great form of exercise and helps improve balance and coordination. Plus, it's a wonderful way to bond with animals and enjoy the outdoors. On the other hand, a hobby that involves technology, like working on a laptop, can help develop important skills like coding or graphic design. However, a disadvantage of this type of hobby is that it can sometimes be isolating and lead to spending too much time indoors.

Personally, I think I prefer the hobby of horseback riding because it allows me to be active and enjoy nature at the same time. It's also a great way to relax and distress from schoolwork. I believe that being around animals and outdoors is really therapeutic and I find it more fulfilling than spending long hours in front of a screen. What do you think about the photos and hobbies?
