Imagine that you and your friend are doing a school project “Man's best friend.”. You have found some photos to illustrate it but for technical reasons you cannot send them now. Leave a voice message to your friend explaining your choice of the photos and sharing some ideas about the project. In 2.5 minutes be ready to:

● explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;
● mention the advantages (1–2) of having a dog and a mouse in the house;
● mention the disadvantages (1–2) of having a dog and a mouse in the house;
● express your opinion on the subject of the project – which animal would you prefer to have: a dog or a mouse? And why?

You will speak for not more than 3 minutes (12–15 sentences). You have to talk continuously.

Hey there! So, I couldn't send you the photos for our "Man's best friend" project, but I can definitely describe them to you. The first photo shows a girl with a mouse in her shirt pocket, looking very happy and content. The second photo features another girl holding a small dog in her hands, also looking extremely joyful.

I chose these illustrations because they showcase the different types of pets that people consider their best friends. While the mouse is small and easily portable, the dog is known for its loyalty and companionship.

Having a dog in the house can bring so much joy and love into your life. Dogs are loyal, loving and great for companionship. Plus, they can provide protection and are great for physical exercise due to walks and playtime. On the other hand, having a mouse in the house can be low maintenance and generally quiet. Plus, some people find them cute and curious pets.

However, having a dog in the house also comes with responsibilities such as regular walks, feeding, grooming and training. Dogs can also be costly to care for in terms of food, medical bills and other supplies. On the other hand, having a mouse in the house might require less maintenance, but they can also be seen as pests by some people. They also have a shorter lifespan compared to dogs.

In my opinion, I would prefer to have a dog as a pet over a mouse. I love the idea of having a loyal companion who can provide not only company but also security and love. Dogs are known for their unconditional love and affection, which I find incredibly comforting and rewarding. Plus, the joy and happiness they bring into a household are unmatched.

So, for our project, I think it would be interesting to explore the different aspects of having a dog or a mouse as a pet and compare the benefits and challenges of each. Can’t wait to hear from you!
