Imagine that you and your friend are doing a school project “Communication”. You have found some photos to illustrate it but for technical reasons you cannot send them now. Leave a voice message to your friend explaining your choice of the photos and sharing some ideas about the project. In 2.5 minutes be ready to:

● explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;
● mention the advantages (1–2) of the two types of communication;
● mention the disadvantages (1–2) of the two types of communication;
● express your opinion on the subject of the project – which way of communication you prefer and why.

You will speak for not more than 3 minutes (12–15 sentences). You have to talk continuously.

Hey there! So, I wanted to share with you the photos I found for our school project on communication, but unfortunately, I can't send them right now. The first photo I found is of a girl smiling and talking on the phone and the second one shows a young man and a girl walking and talking to each other.

I chose the first photo because it represents verbal communication through technology, while the second one depicts face-to-face communication. The girl on the phone seems happy and engaged in the conversation, while the young man and girl walking show a more personal and interactive form of communication.

One advantage of phone communication is that it allows for quick and easy interaction over long distances. On the other hand, face-to-face communication allows for better understanding of non-verbal cues and emotions. However, phone communication can sometimes lack the personal touch of face-to-face conversations and it may also lead to misunderstandings due to the absence of body language.

In my opinion, I prefer face-to-face communication because it feels more genuine and intimate. I believe that being physically present with someone allows for a deeper connection and understanding. However, I also recognize the convenience and efficiency of phone communication, especially in today's fast-paced world.

Overall, I think both forms of communication have their own advantages and disadvantages and it's important to use them appropriately depending on the situation. I'm looking forward to discussing more ideas for our project and exploring the different aspects of communication. Let me know your thoughts when you get a chance.
