Она выучила достаточно классической музыки и хотела заняться чем-то другим. «Тогда начинай импровизировать!» Мама Джессики рассказала ей. «Джаз – это импровизация. Многие соло — это просто музыканты, играющие то, что чувствует их сердце». Джессика подумала об импровизации. Она с трудом могла себе представить, что просто сидит за пианино и играет все, что приходит ей в голову, просто собирая ноты так, чтобы увлечь слушателей.
