Imagine that you and your friend are doing a school project “Sports activities”. You have found some photos to illustrate it but for technical reasons you cannot send them now. Leave a voice message to your friend explaining your choice of the photos and sharing some ideas about the project. In 2.5 minutes be ready to:

● explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;
● mention the advantages (1–2) of the two sports activities;
● mention the disadvantages (1–2) of the two sports activities;
● express your opinion on the subject of the project – which of the sports activities presented in the pictures you’d prefer and why.

You will speak for not more than 3 minutes (12–15 sentences). You have to talk continuously.

Hey, so I found these amazing photos for our school project on sports activities, but I can't send them right now due to some technical issues.

In the first photo we have a young man kicking a ball on a football field, dressed in shorts, a T-shirt, leggings and cleats. The weather looks clear and sunny, perfect for playing football. The second photo shows a girl swimming in the pool, wearing a swimsuit and a swimming cap.

I chose these photos because they represent two popular sports activities — football and swimming. Football is a great team sport that helps improve coordination, physical fitness and teamwork skills. On the other hand, swimming is a fantastic full-body workout that improves cardiovascular health, muscle strength and flexibility.

However, football can sometimes lead to injuries like sprains and strains due to its physical nature. Swimming, while a low-impact sport, can be limited by access to a pool and may not be as enjoyable for some people as playing a team sport like football.

Personally, I would prefer football because I love the adrenaline rush of playing on a team, scoring goals and celebrating victories together. Plus, there's nothing quite like the thrill of a competitive match on the football field.

I think both sports activities have their own advantages and disadvantages, but ultimately, it comes down to personal preference and what you enjoy the most. Would love to hear your thoughts on this when we discuss our project further. Let's nail this presentation together! See you soon!
