Student: I got my first mobile phone when I was around thirteen years old.
Electronic assistant: What do you use your mobile phone for, apart from talking?
Student: Apart from talking, I use my mobile phone for texting, taking photos, listening to music, browsing the internet and using social media apps.
Electronic assistant: Who do you usually send SMSs to?
Student: I usually send SMSs to my friends, family members and classmates.
Electronic assistant: How can you use mobile phones to learn foreign languages?
Student: I can use mobile phones to learn foreign languages by downloading language learning apps, watching foreign language videos, listening to podcasts and using language translation tools.
Electronic assistant: Where do you usually switch off your mobile phone?
Student: I usually switch off my mobile phone during classes, exams or when I am in a library or a quiet place.
Electronic assistant: Why are most teachers against using mobile phones in schools?
Student: Most teachers are against using mobile phones in schools because they can be distracting, students may use them for cheating and they can disrupt the learning environment. Teachers also believe that students should focus on their studies and interact with each other instead of being glued to their phones.
