Климат Шотландии умеренный океанический, но всегда очень изменчивый. из-за того, что он согревается Гольфстримом из Атлантического океана, шотландские зимы намного мягче, чем в областях на аналогичных широтах, таких как Московская область, полуостров Камчатка, южная часть Скандинавии и т. д.
