Никто не может объяснить, почему стена была начата, но есть много теорий, почему она так и не была закончена. Некоторые говорят, что во время его строительства погибло так много людей, что никто не осмелился остановить работы и тем самым признать, что все это было напрасно. Другие утверждают, что у строителей просто закончились материалы. Но одно можно сказать наверняка: предсказанная угроза так и не наступила, и люди в центре архипелага попросту замуровались.
