Imagine that you and your friend are doing a school project “Keeping fit”. You have found some photos to illustrate it but for technical reasons you cannot send them now. Leave a voice message to your friend explaining your choice of the photos and sharing some ideas about the project. In 2.5 minutes be ready to:
● explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;
● mention the advantages (1–2) of the two ways of keeping fit;
● mention the disadvantages (1–2) of the two ways of keeping fit;
● express your opinion on the subject of the project – which way of keeping fit you prefer and why.
You will speak for not more than
3 minutes (12–15 sentences). You have to talk continuously.

Hi! I wanted to tell you about the photos I’ve chosen for our project “Keeping fit.” In the first photo we can see a girl in sports clothes running on a treadmill in the gym. In the second photo there is a girl holding a plate with a vegetable salad in one hand and a fork in the other. So, the first picture shows physical activity, while the second one illustrates healthy eating.
Both of these ways are really important if we want to stay healthy. Doing sport makes people stronger, gives them energy and helps them control their weight. Eating healthy food, on the other hand, provides the body with vitamins and minerals and prevents illnesses.
At the same time, both methods have some disadvantages. Going to the gym or exercising regularly takes a lot of time and sometimes money. As for eating healthy food, it can be quite expensive and not always easy to follow, especially if someone likes fast food.
Personally, I prefer physical activity because I like to exercise. Of course, healthy eating is important too, but I think that regular exercise is more motivating for me. That’s why I would choose sport as the best way of keeping fit.
