Imagine that you and your friend are doing a school project “Masterclasses”. You have found some photos to illustrate it but for technical reasons you cannot send them now. Leave a voice message to your friend explaining your choice of the photos and sharing some ideas about the project. In 2.5 minutes be ready to:
● explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;
● mention the advantages (1–2) of the two types of masterclasses;
● mention the disadvantages (1–2) of the two types of masterclasses;
● express your opinion on the subject of the project – which of these masterclasses you’d prefer to attend and why.
You will speak for not more than 3 minutes (12–15 sentences). You have to talk continuously.

Hi! I want to tell you about the photos I’ve chosen for our project “Masterclasses.” In the first photo we can see two chefs, a man and a woman, who are giving a cooking masterclass. The participants are actively involved in the process and carefully listening to the chef. In the second photo, there are two girls standing in front of canvases with paints and brushes, and each of them has an assistant helping and guiding them. So, the main difference is that one masterclass is about cooking, while the other is about painting.
Both of these types of masterclasses have clear advantages. Cooking masterclasses are very practical, because you can learn new recipes and use these skills in everyday life. Painting masterclasses, on the other hand, are creative and help people express their emotions and relax.
Of course, there are also some disadvantages. Cooking classes can be messy and sometimes expensive, because you need many ingredients. Painting classes might be difficult for people who don’t have artistic skills, and the result can be disappointing for them.
As for me, I would prefer to attend a cooking masterclass. I love the idea of making delicious dishes with professional advice and then tasting them. It’s useful, fun, and something I can share with my family and friends later.
