Imagine that you and your friend are doing a school project “Ideal weekend”. You have found some photos to illustrate it but for technical reasons you cannot send them now. Leave a voice message to your friend explaining your choice of the photos and sharing some ideas about the project. In 2.5 minutes be ready to:
● explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;
● mention the advantages (1–2) of the two ways to spend the weekend;
● mention the disadvantages (1–2) of the two ways to spend the weekend;
● express your opinion on the subject of the project – say which way of spending the weekend presented in the pictures you prefer and why.
You will speak for not more than 3 minutes (12–15 sentences). You have to talk continuously.

Hi! I’ve found two photos for our “Ideal weekend” project, and I want to explain why I chose them.
The first photo shows a girl in a yellow sweater and jeans, wearing headphones, sitting on a couch next to a cat. She looks relaxed and happy, enjoying a quiet moment at home. The second photo has three girls riding bicycles in a sunny park. They look cheerful and energetic, enjoying the outdoors together.
These pictures show two different ways to spend a weekend. The first is staying home, relaxing with music and pets. The advantage of this is that it’s peaceful and helps you recharge without any stress. But the downside might be that it can get boring or lonely after a while. The second way is being active outside with friends, which is great for exercise and socializing. However, it depends on good weather and might be tiring or less relaxing.
Personally, I prefer the second way — spending time outside with friends. I think it’s more fun and refreshing, especially after a busy week at school. But I also like the idea of quiet time sometimes, so maybe an ideal weekend could be a mix of both!
