You are going to give a talk about learning foreign languages. You will have to start in 1.5 minutes and speak for not more than 2 minutes (10–12 sentences).

● why lots of people learn foreign languages nowadays;
● why you have chosen to do the English exam this year;
● what you did to prepare for your English exam;
● what your attitude to learning foreign languages is.

You have to talk continuously.

Today I'm happy to discuss the importance of learning foreign languages.

In today's globalized world the ability to communicate in multiple languages has become increasingly essential. Many people learn foreign languages to enhance their career opportunities, connect with people from different cultures and simply to broaden their horizons.

This year I have chosen to take the English exam because I recognize the widespread use of English in business, education and the global community. I wanted to challenge myself and improve my proficiency in this widely spoken language.

To prepare for my English exam I dedicated a significant amount of time to studying grammar, vocabulary and practising speaking and writing tasks. I also engaged in conversations with native English speakers to improve my fluency and pronunciation.

In general, my attitude towards learning foreign languages is very positive. I find it to be a rewarding and enriching experience that allows me to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. In conclusion, I believe that learning a foreign language is not only a valuable skill but also an exciting journey of self-discovery.
