● what wild animals live in your region;
● whether it is a good idea to keep a wild animal as a pet, and why;
● why people build zoos in cities and towns;
● what your attitude to zoos is.

Today I want to talk to you about animals. In my region, which is a temperate climate with forests and rivers, we have a variety of wild animals such as deer, bears, foxes and raccoons. While these animals are fascinating to observe in their natural habitat, it is not a good idea to keep them as pets. Wild animals have specific needs that are difficult to meet in a domestic setting, leading to stress and health issues for the animal.

People build zoos in cities and towns so that the public can get to know and appreciate wild animals. Zoos also play a role in conservation efforts, helping to protect endangered species and raise awareness about the importance of wildlife preservation. However, there is ongoing debate about the ethics of keeping animals in captivity for human entertainment.

Personally, I have mixed feelings about zoos. On one hand, I appreciate the educational opportunities they provide and the conservation work they do. On the other hand, I am concerned about the well-being of the animals. Overall, I believe that zoos can be valuable institutions if they prioritize animal welfare and conservation efforts.
