Electronic assistant: What foreign languages can you learn at your school?
Student: At my school we can learn English, German, French, Spanish and Chinese.
Electronic assistant: How many English lessons a week do you have?
Student: I have four English lessons a week.
Electronic assistant: For what reasons do people learn foreign languages nowadays?
Student: People learn foreign languages nowadays for many reasons. Some learn for travel, some for job opportunities, some for cultural enrichment and some for personal interest.
Electronic assistant: What is the most effective way to learn a foreign language in your opinion?
Student: In my opinion, the most effective way to learn a foreign language is through immersion, either by living in a country where the language is spoken or by surrounding yourself with native speakers.
Electronic assistant: Do you think English will be useful for you in the future? In what way?
Student: I think English will be very useful for me in the future, especially for my future career and for communicating with people from different parts of the world.
Electronic assistant: What language would you recommend your English speaking friend learn? Why?
Student: I would recommend my English speaking friend to learn Spanish because it is a widely spoken language with rich culture and it can open up opportunities for travel and career advancement in Spanish-speaking countries.
