You are going to take part in a telephone survey. You have to answer six questions. Give full answers to the questions.
Remember that you have 40 seconds to answer each question.
Пояснение: Electronic assistant: Hello! It’s the electronic assistant of the English club. We kindly ask you to take part in our survey. We need to find out teenagers' attitudes to English language learning. Please answer six questions. The survey is anonymous – you don’t have to give your name. So, let’s get started.
Electronic assistant: What is your favourite school subject?
Student: My favorite school subject is English.
Electronic assistant: When did you start learning English?
Student: I started learning English when I was in the 2nd grade, so I was around eight years old.
Electronic assistant: What do you do in your English lessons?
Student: In English lessons we usually do a lot of speaking practice, grammar exercises, reading comprehension and writing assignments. Sometimes we watch English movies or listen to English songs to improve our listening skills.
Electronic assistant: Do you find learning English easy or difficult? Why?
Student: I find learning English both easy and difficult. It’s easy because I enjoy it and I find it interesting, but it’s difficult because there are so many rules and exceptions to remember.
Electronic assistant: What other foreign language would you like to learn and why?
Student: I would like to learn French because I find the language and culture fascinating. I think it would be useful to learn French as it is spoken in many countries around the world.
Electronic assistant: What would you recommend a person do to improve his or her English?
Student: I would recommend a person to practice speaking English as much as possible. They can find a language exchange partner, watch English movies or TV shows with subtitles, listen to English podcasts or songs and read books or articles in English. Additionally, using language learning apps and websites can also be helpful in improving English skills.
