Thank you for your email message! I'm glad to hear from you again! It sounds like you had an amazing time in China!
In Russia the most popular holidays are New Year's Eve, Russia Day, Maslenitsa and Victory Day. My favourite holiday is New Year's Eve because it's a time for new beginnings and celebrating with family and friends. We usually decorate a New Year tree, exchange gifts and have a big feast with traditional dishes like Olivier salad and borscht. Fireworks light up the sky at midnight, and we toast to the new year with champagne. It's a magical time filled with joy and hope.
Anyway, I've got to go since I haven't done my homework for tomorrow yet.
