Dear Jim,
Thank you for your email message! I'm glad to hear from you again! It's great that you're determined to make and keep New Year's resolutions.
I do make resolutions as I see them as a way to set goals and work towards self-improvement. One new hobby I would like to try is painting. I've always been fascinated by art and would love to explore my creative side through painting. In my free time I enjoy reading, going for walks in nature and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
Anyway, I've got to go as my mother asked me to go to the grocery store.
