Пояснение: Interviewer: Hello everybody! It’s Teenagers Round the World Channel. Our guest today is a teenager from Russia and we are going to discuss teenagers' attitude to science. We’d like to know our guest’s point of view on this issue. Please answer five questions. So, let’s get started.
Interviewer: What science subjects have you studied? Which of them did you enjoy?
Student: I have studied biology, chemistry and physics. I really enjoyed biology the most because I find it fascinating to learn about living organisms and how they interact with each other and their environment.
Interviewer: Are there any inventions or discoveries which had negative effects?
Student: Yes, definitely. For example, the invention of nuclear weapons has had very negative effects on humanity. While nuclear energy can be used for power, the destructive capability of these weapons poses a huge threat to global safety.
Interviewer: What would you like scientists to discover or invent in the future? Why?
Student: I would love for scientists to discover a way to effectively combat climate change. Finding sustainable energy sources or methods to clean up pollution could greatly improve our planet's health and future.
Interviewer: Which scientist of the past or the present do you admire? Why?
Student: I admire Marie Curie because she was a pioneering scientist in radioactivity. Her dedication to her work and her contributions to science, especially as a woman in a male-dominated field, are truly inspiring.
Interviewer: What discovery or invention can you not live without? Why?
Student: I can't live without the internet. It has transformed how we access information, communicate and learn. It makes education and connecting with others so much easier and more efficient.
