Interviewer: Do you agree that nowadays people read less than they used to in the past?
Student: I think that nowadays people might read less in terms of physical books, but with the rise of technology, people are still reading a lot through digital means like e-books, articles and social media content.
Interviewer: What is better — to read a book or to watch its screen version? Why?
Student: Personally, I believe that reading a book is better than watching its screen version because it allows for more imagination and deeper analysis of the story. Books can provide more detailed descriptions and characters' inner thoughts that might not be fully captured on screen.
Interviewer: How can good reading skills help teenagers in their future career?
Student: Good reading skills can help teenagers in their future career by improving their critical thinking, communication and vocabulary. These skills are essential in various professions and can give teenagers a competitive edge in the job market.
Interviewer: Who or what can help children shape their reading habits?
Student: Parents, teachers and librarians play a crucial role in shaping children's reading habits. By introducing them to a variety of books, encouraging reading as a hobby and discussing the importance of reading, adults can help children develop a lifelong love for reading.
Interviewer: What are your current reading preferences? Have they changed since you were a child?
Student: Currently, I enjoy reading mystery and thriller novels, but my preferences have definitely changed since I was a child. I used to love fantasy and adventure books, but as I grew older, my taste in genres has evolved. Reading has allowed me to explore different genres and authors, broadening my literary horizons.
